Wayne Patten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dennis Pitts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Euston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Yeo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Jeremy Hancock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Euston AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Wokingham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jools McIlroy to maneuver through the defense. Stiff Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Yeo , who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Richie Yeo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stiff Osborn . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richie Yeo ran back to his position shaking his head. Stiff Osborn came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Euston AFC's Jeremy Hancock . But to his dismay, Jeremy Hancock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Jeremy Hancock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jools McIlroy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Euston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Patten came free, but Dennis Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wokingham United's goalkeeper Stiff Osborn , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rodney Oakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richie Yeo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Wokingham United's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Yeo came free, but Stiff Osborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Pitts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Oakes in the 55th minute of play. Jeremy Hancock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stiff Osborn having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Rodney Oakes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Yeo in the 72nd minute of play forced Wokingham United's goalkeeper Stiff Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jeremy Hancock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Oakes in the 79th minute of play forced Euston AFC's goalkeeper Dennis Pitts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Alistair Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodney Oakes in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Pitts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rodney Oakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stiff Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Yeo in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Dominik Butcher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wokingham United and the Euston AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Dominik Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremy Hancock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stiff Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Euston AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
