Darren Bridgewater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Malcolm Garrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zak Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malcolm Garrett in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zak Davison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfie Clarke s short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Darren Bridgewater to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Tatsfield United's Darren Bridgewater got control of the ball when Alfie Clarke tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Alfie Clarke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darren Bridgewater. Tatsfield United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfie Clarke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Darren Bridgewater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasey Reading , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tatsfield United's Darren Bridgewater proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tatsfield United from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Griffiths during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danny Griffiths hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Kasey Reading let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 39th minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. With an all-out effort, Leyland's Darren Bridgewater threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bob Ash , which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Syd English during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Tatsfield United got a freekick which was hit by Syd English. In the 45th minute Kasey Reading shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Bridgewater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zak Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Garrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jay Young to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Garrett got free with Zak Davison in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 52 played minutes Leyland got a freekick which was hit by Bob Ash . When Alfie Clarke came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Leyland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfie Clarke couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasey Reading in the 63rd minute of play forced Tatsfield United's goalkeeper Darren Bridgewater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Reading charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasey Reading the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leyland's Kasey Reading got a free kick in the 68th minute. Bob Ash recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Kasey Reading cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Darren Bridgewater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 83 minutes, Bob Ash mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leyland and the Tatsfield United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Syd English sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Young received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zak Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zak Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Garrett in the 92nd minute. Kasey Reading sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leyland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
