Darren Bridgewater dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Dom Giugno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buster Ashworth hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Jay Young came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tatsfield United fans jumped to their feet. Conisbrough City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dom Giugno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Francis Holmes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Francis Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Conisbrough City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rio Taylor hit a great ball. When Conisbrough City's Dom Giugno in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Malcolm Garrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. David Rundell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Francis Holmes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Conisbrough City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francis Holmes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tatsfield United booed when Conisbrough City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dom Giugno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dom Giugno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Danny Griffiths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conisbrough City's Dom Giugno got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francis Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Bridgewater having to interfere. Francis Holmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Darren Bridgewater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Mayo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Darren Bridgewater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Giugno in the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Dom Giugno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darren Bridgewater was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Jay Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Conisbrough City were the better team. Conisbrough City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
