Marty Hughes was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Adam Brooks capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Brooks really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 34 minutes into the game, Purfleet's Teddy Croyden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cody Morgan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Josh Tetley charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 72nd minute, Piers Wiley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lincoln's Cody Morgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Lincoln from getting a goal against them. Cody Morgan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Piers Wiley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 94 minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
