Spectators: 6845 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) Twickenham's Alexander Yorke started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Uldale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Yorke came free, but Phil Chivers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam Hart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Toby Faith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Hart in the 9th minute of play forced Twickenham's goalkeeper Toby Faith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uldale AFC's Ray Galway got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toby Faith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerome Morrice, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Sam Hart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toby Faith was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Toby Faith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Hart in the 21st minute of play. Jerome Morrice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Toby Faith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Alexander Yorke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Phil Chivers . The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, Uldale AFC's Marty Llyod got a free kick in the 30th minute. Phil Chivers made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alf Cooke sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Twickenham's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Hart came free, but Toby Faith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Twickenham booed when Uldale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reg Spacey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Hart in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toby Faith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 45 minutes, Alexander Yorke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twickenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Yorke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerome Morrice to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Jerome Morrice recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toby Faith . Jerome Morrice showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The supporters of Uldale AFC booed when Twickenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neil Morse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toby Faith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerome Morrice's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to Twickenham getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Neil Morse hit a great ball. Sam Hart in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toby Faith , who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Travis Pearch kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Toby Faith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Hart , who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Phil Chivers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Yorke in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Jerome Morrice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Sly Corby in the 81st minute really tested Toby Faith 's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Jerome Morrice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uldale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome Morrice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Jerome Morrice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Faith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Uldale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron English . The Uldale AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
