In the 7th minute, Ray Galway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jimmy Dlyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Jerome Morrice got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Golcar United got a freekick which was hit by Wes Summers. Blair Bingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Morrice in the 15th minute of the match. Golcar United's Blair Bingham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Morrice in the 17th minute of play. Jonathon Peters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Phil Chivers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sam Hart came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Uldale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Hart couldn't finish the play. Blair Bingham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerome Morrice's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jonathon Peters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phil Chivers having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jonathon Peters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Marty Llyod mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uldale AFC and the Golcar United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Golcar United booed when Uldale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marty Llyod didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathon Peters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Golcar United's Blair Bingham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Morrice in the 35th minute of play. Blair Bingham made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sam Hart sent off a good shot on target. Sam Hart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Blair Bingham when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Uldale AFC's Jerome Morrice slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blair Bingham. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. A collision led to Uldale AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marty Llyod hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathon Peters made a kick off. Rick Caddell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Phil Chivers made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathon Peters in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phil Chivers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blair Bingham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Hart in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Sam Hart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Bingham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Hart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Blair Bingham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uldale AFC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Golcar United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Chandler took the corner. Blair Bingham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Morrice in the 75th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Sam Hart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golcar United's Blair Bingham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blair Bingham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Hart in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reg Spacey in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair Bingham saved Golcar United from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golcar United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Uldale AFC.
