Wigston City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Downs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Super Mario's goalkeeper Glyn Collingwood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, Wigston City's Jon Kitchen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glyn Collingwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Wigston City booed when Super Mario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Trabucco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Trabucco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 28th playminute. Kyle Titmus was a little too slow when Lukasz Grunwalski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 4-1. 37 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Trabucco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Kyle Titmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinando Trabuccos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Kyle Titmus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kyle Titmus came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Super Mario's Lukasz Grunwalski. But to his dismay, Lukasz Grunwalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orson Hardwick during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute Ferdinando Trabucco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Titmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Wigston City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orson Hardwick to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Trabucco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukasz Grunwalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyle Titmus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play.
