Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lukasz Grunwalski started the match with the kick off. Glyn Collingwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Daly in the 12th minute of play. Rhys Digby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Grunwalski in the 14th minute of play. Rhys Digby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Downs in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Marc Downs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Blackheath's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Sheridan came free, but Rhys Digby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Super Mario got a freekick which was hit by Phil Haines. Blackheath's Ray Hay couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Super Mario. Rhys Digby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Grunwalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Digby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Grunwalski in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Blackheath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremy Daly to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jude Blake could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Rhys Digby however easily saved by the left post. Jude Blake hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Blackheath got a freekick which was hit by Ray Hay . Blackheath's Rhys Digby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Blackheath from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Super Mario's Jerry Cotton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rhys Digby . Rhys Digby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 46 minutes into the game, Super Mario's Lukasz Grunwalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rhys Digby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Super Mario's Marc Downs got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Lukasz Grunwalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Super Mario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Rhys Digby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Trabucco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marc Downs was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Blackheath booed when Super Mario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Downs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Biagio Censi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Glyn Collingwood when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rhys Digby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Grunwalski in the 72nd minute of play. Jude Blake charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jude Blake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Super Mario got a freekick which was hit by Jude Blake. Ross Lineker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukasz Grunwalski in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Digby saved Blackheath from getting behind. Brian Corrigan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Rhys Digby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Grunwalski's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Glyn Collingwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Blewitt in the 97th minute of play.
