Joe Brontë didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Deportivo De La Mata's Emiliano Torrente shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 11th minute, Emiliano Torrente made a precise shot to the right of Joe Brontë. Walmley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Casey Goodall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16thth minute of the game Emiliano Torrente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walmley's Joe Brontë was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Emiliano Torrente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Brontë saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Mark Nolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Walmley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Frost to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo De La Mata's Emiliano Torrente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joe Brontë. That made the score 3-0 after 27 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Walmley's zone, Emiliano Torrente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Brontë came out of the goal and Emiliano Torrente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Torrente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joe Brontë was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Saturno in the 35th minute of play forced Walmley's goalkeeper Joe Brontë to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Mark Nolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Torrente received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joe Brontë came out and tried to block the shot, but Emiliano Torrente slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Walmley got a freekick which was hit by Todd Fleetham . The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Torrente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Emiliano Torrente put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joe Brontë. Emiliano Torrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Brontë having to interfere. Joe Brontë didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Torrente went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Torrente in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Brontë saved Walmley from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Krzysztof Kolano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Walmley's zone, Emiliano Torrente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Brontë came out of the goal and Emiliano Torrente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Torrente in the 65th minute of play forced Walmley's goalkeeper Joe Brontë to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Deportivo De La Mata's Emiliano Torrente in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walmley's goalie prevented a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Emiliano Torrente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Joe Brontë was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Torrente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Brontë was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Emiliano Torrente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codruț Meleșcanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Brontë having to make a save. When Leroy Barfield fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walmley's protests and gave Leroy Barfield a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Walmley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Barfield to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Deportivo De La Mata's Emiliano Torrente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joe Brontë made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Vance Locking kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Joe Brontë made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Meleșcanu in the 88th minute of play. Joe Brontë showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Walmley's goalkeeper Joe Brontë, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Walmley's Vance Locking got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo De La Mata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
