Spectators: 6850 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jane Reddington started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Deportivo De La Mata got a freekick which was hit by Blair Parry. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Torrente in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Todd Waller saved Nailsea from getting behind. In the 12th minute Dario Saturno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emiliano Torrente came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Deportivo De La Mata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Torrente couldn't finish the play. Oscar Moore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Neil Power in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Nailsea defense, Emiliano Torrente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Todd Waller . The Nailsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Todd Waller should have stopped the shot. After 23rd play minutes Emiliano Torrente shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Todd Waller and just under the crossbar into goal. Neil Power took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Moore. Oscar Moore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Todd Waller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Torrente went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Deportivo De La Mata's Emiliano Torrente got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Torrente in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Todd Waller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Todd Waller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Torrente's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Emiliano Torrente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo De La Mata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Torrente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Torrente in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Todd Waller saved Nailsea from getting behind.

Emiliano Torrente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dario Saturno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Todd Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Torrente in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Nailsea's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Torrente came free, but Todd Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Casey Goodall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo De La Mata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nailsea the free kick. In the 68th minute, Casey Goodall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nailsea's Johnny Moyle got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vance William Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Nailsea's goalkeeper Todd Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Torrente. Emiliano Torrente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Todd Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Casey Goodall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsea's zone, Emiliano Torrente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todd Waller came out of the goal and Emiliano Torrente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Nailsea got a freekick which was hit by Eric Gough .
