In the 14th minute, Pirroni-cum-Moze's Harvey Gamble ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Todd Waller . Todd Waller yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jane Reddington 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Noble read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Leroy Bond hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes in the game, Neil Power dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With an all-out effort, Pirroni-cum-Moze's Todd Waller threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Harvey Gamble, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Nailsea's Carl Busby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Noble narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jane Reddington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jane Reddington made a kick off. Romeo Coulthard scored 3-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Todd Waller , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Johnny Moyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nailsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirroni-cum-Moze the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nailsea's Johnny Moyle got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Harvey Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Power 's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patrick Noble firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pirroni-cum-Moze's Patrick Noble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jane Reddington in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th play minute Neil Power came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrick Noble. 3-2. If Neil Power had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pirroni-cum-Moze were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Nailsea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jack Deighton took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pirroni-cum-Moze's corner Jack Deighton fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Todd Waller quite easily take care of the ball. Nailsea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
