Pirroni-cum-Moze's Patrick Noble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Brent in the 12th minute of play. Andrew Colt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Noble having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Andrew Colt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenny Brent struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Patrick Noble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandown. Rick Short showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Gamble in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Coulthard got free with Rick Short in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 36 minutes, Kenny Brent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny Brent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
