Codicote City's Thomas Watts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Codicote City from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Colin Ball in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Harrison saved Bridgwater City from getting behind. Maik Nethercot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maik Nethercot struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Thomas Watts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgwater City. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maik Nethercot in the 38th minute of play forced Codicote City's goalkeeper Thomas Watts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Shane Peake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgwater City's supporters rose to their feet, but Shane Peake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Watts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a little luck, Bridgwater City's Thomas Harrison got control of the ball when Dominik McLiam Wilson tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Codicote City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bridgwater City.
