If Luizinho Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Ralf Naylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Goodman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Caddell to maneuver through the defense. If Luizinho Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Bristol Kingswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daryl Lewington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Naylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Goodman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Luizinho Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizinho Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curtis Goodman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Curtis Goodman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Naylor in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Jerry Dearden got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Bristol Kingswood players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Naylor made a kick off. Pocho Lavezzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Goodman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ian Griffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Maginnis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Kingswood's zone, Pocho Lavezzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Curtis Goodman came out of the goal and Pocho Lavezzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizinho Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Matthew Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ian Griffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Goodman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Naylor's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Ralf Naylor had several of the Bristol Kingswood's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 98 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Curtis Goodman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Arsenal FC played a much better game than Bristol Kingswood and deserved their victory. The Bristol Kingswood players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
