Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dean Doherty kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Morris in the 5th minute of play forced Lantham West Police's goalkeeper Jacob Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zack Culverhouse during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zack Culverhouse hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Gary Goldthorpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Thompson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Larry Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lantham West Police's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hendon AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lantham West Police's Larry Lima got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Hendon AFC's Rupert Morris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacob Thompson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gary Goldthorpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gary Goldthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Thompson having to interfere. In the 27th minute of the match Zack Culverhouse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Thompson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gary Goldthorpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jacob Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lantham West Police's Larry Lima got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lantham West Police's Larry Lima quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Colin Ward, made in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Hendon AFC's zone, Wes Winterbine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayden Hatcher came out of the goal and Wes Winterbine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Dean Doherty came free in the 52nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Hayden Hatcher, but to the joy of Hendon AFC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 58th minute, Gary Goldthorpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Lima missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 67 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Hayden Hatcher right hand side. Rupert Morris scored 0-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Thompson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gary Goldthorpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jacob Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Lantham West Police's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Goldthorpe came free, but Jacob Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Winterbine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gary Goldthorpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jacob Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
