Brian Greaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awa Pradnyana in the 22nd minute of play. The Titanic of Belfast fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Titanic of Belfast's Billy Clayton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Clayton in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Greaves saved Cuddington from getting behind. Awa Pradnyana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Billy Clayton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Derek Simpson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 minutes, Billy Clayton made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Cuddington's Brian Greaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Awa Pradnyana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brian Greaves . The goal made the score 0-8. Billy Clayton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Brian Greaves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 69th minute Awa Pradnyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Greaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Billy Clayton made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Cuddington's Brian Greaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Cuddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mary Hutchinson to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Titanic of Belfast got a freekick which was hit by Ben Jamin. Larry Bullock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Lagdon , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Forrest Marlow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cuddington's Terry Mulford tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuddington's goalkeeper Brian Greaves , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cuddington fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Titanic of Belfast were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
