Oulton Broad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CJ Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adam Boulton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Ford hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, CJ Harrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polperro and the Oulton Broad players grew even worse after the yellow card.

After a defensive mix-up in Oulton Broad's zone, Matt Perkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Boulton came out of the goal and Matt Perkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Boulton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Washington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Polperro's Ben Washington got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Ben Washington fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adam Boulton, passed just outside the right post. Adam Boulton made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when CJ Harrison sent off a good shot on target. If CJ Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Washington was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
