A wasted opportunity for Bristol Kingswood. 30 minutes into the game, Abraham Shields was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avebury AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bristol Kingswood the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Avebury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Shields to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Avebury AFC's Kelvin Kindness nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basil Skipton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Bristol Kingswood's goalkeeper Basil Skipton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kelvin Kindness. 39 minutes into the match, Avebury AFC's Kenneth Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil Skipton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kenneth Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Felix Frost made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Kenneth Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Skipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Avebury AFC's Kenneth Dalton in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelvin Kindness couldn't finish the play. Kenneth Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austen Burnett made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tommy Ridgeway sent off a good shot on target. Bristol Kingswood's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Billing in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Kenneth Dalton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basil Skipton. Bristol Kingswood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kenneth Dalton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avebury AFC fully deserved thier win.
