The wind increased when Alexander Galway made the kick off in the second half. If Ray Denham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylon Acheson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Venables in the 60th minute of play. When Castle Donington's Marek York in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leek FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 minutes, Vince Sutcliffe mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leek FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
