After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Vic Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colo-Colo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vic Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steve Stockton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steve Stockton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Theobald in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Colo-Colo's Neil Langdon stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Steve Stockton stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Callington City of the goal. After a rather tough play, Callington City's Mark Lennon got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vic Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Stockton having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Liam Sheringham notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colo-Colo's Maurice Stockley. Maurice Stockley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neil Langdon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Steve Stockton made a huge save. Callington City's Steve Stockton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Callington City from getting a goal against them. Steve Stockton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vic Theobald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 46 minute of play. The Colo-Colo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Callington City were winning 1-2.

With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Maurice Stockley got control of the ball when Dominic Medlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Callington City's Steve Stockton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Theobald in the 55th minute of play. If Vic Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Beale kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Neil Langdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Beale's late challenge caught a Colo-Colo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Beale helped the player get up and apologised. Neil Langdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Steve Stockton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vic Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Liam Sheringham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurice Stockley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Guy Neeson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colo-Colo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callington City the free kick. Maurice Stockley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Sheringham, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Neil Langdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Steve Stockton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Vic Theobald. Liam Sheringham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Stockley having to interfere. The Colo-Colo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Callington City's performance. The match ended with a win for Callington City.
