Spectators: 8509 (Terracing: 6382, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) Black Team's Mark Haskell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Monk in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louis Cheeseman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 played minutes Black Team got a freekick which was hit by Antony Jennings. Barry Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Cheeseman having to interfere. After 15 minutes of play, UK United's Barry Monk made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louis Cheeseman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Barry Monk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Cheeseman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Barry Monk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Louis Cheeseman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Mark Haskell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UK United the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Monk in the 32nd minute of play forced Black Team's goalkeeper Louis Cheeseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black Team's zone, Barry Bell Burnell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Cheeseman came out of the goal and Barry Bell Burnell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Barry Monk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Barry Bell Burnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Cheeseman having to interfere. Louis Cheeseman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Bell Burnell's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Monk to strike the kick off in the second half. If Barry Bell Burnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Cheeseman was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Barry Monk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barry Monk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 63rd minute, Barry Monk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Barry Monk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Louis Cheeseman made a huge save. Louis Cheeseman made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Barry Bell Burnell sent off a good shot on target. When Mark Haskell was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. A collision led to Black Team getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mark Haskell hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Barry Monk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UK United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Monk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, UK United's Barry Monk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louis Cheeseman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barry Monk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. UK United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Barry Bell Burnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Black Team's Louis Cheeseman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Monk in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Barry Monk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute of the match Harvey Hume shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Louis Cheeseman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barry Bell Burnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Bell Burnell got free with Louis Cheeseman in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded UK United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black Team.
