Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barry Monk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Callington City's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Bell Burnell came free, but Steve Stockton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barry Bell Burnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Steve Stockton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barry Bell Burnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Barry Monk came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the UK United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Monk couldn't finish the play. Dominic Medlin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Barry Bell Burnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sean Newell kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Sheringham in the 36th minute of play forced UK United's goalkeeper Jon Browning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Bell Burnell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Stockton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Steve Stockton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Monk in the 44th minute of play. UK United's Harry Rundell pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Thomas Beale charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Beale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Thomas Beale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liam Sheringham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brian Castledine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Stockton having to interfere. Barry Bell Burnell struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Steve Stockton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UK United. Liam Sheringham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barry Bell Burnell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Stockton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Barry Monk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UK United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Monk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacob Larham hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Barry Monk charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jon Browning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Medlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Barry Bell Burnell took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steve Stockton. Steve Stockton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Barry Bell Burnell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UK United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Bell Burnell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
