The crowd rose to their feet as Barry Monk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Al Baum. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. A collision led to Corby getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Grant Button hit a great ball. Jon Browning didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tod Lowe went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jordan Downes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jon Browning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron McMenamin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Al Baum made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barry Bell Burnell in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes Corby's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brad Buxton who took care of the corner kick. In the 95thth minute of the game Jordan Downes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UK United's Jon Browning was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UK United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
