Spectators: 8509 (Terracing: 6382, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seth Hoskins started the match with the kick off. Louis Cheeseman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seth Hoskins's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Black Team's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Hoskins came free, but Louis Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Cheeseman came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Levenshulme's Seth Hoskins. But to his dismay, Seth Hoskins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Seth Hoskins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Cheeseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antony Jennings fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Team's protests and gave Antony Jennings a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Black Team got a freekick which was hit by Antony Jennings. 24 minutes into the game, Philip Baum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Louis Cheeseman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Black Team's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Hoskins came free, but Louis Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Philip Baum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Levenshulme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Seth Hoskins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louis Cheeseman. Black Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seth Hoskins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Levenshulme booed when Black Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Haskell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Seth Hoskins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Team's Louis Cheeseman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Seth Hoskins sped through Black Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Louis Cheeseman. Philip Baum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Haskell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Seth Hoskins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Cheeseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Jennings might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lee Frost. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antony Jennings ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Black Team got a freekick which was hit by Rowan Renwick. If Seth Hoskins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Hoskins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Louis Cheeseman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Philip Baum notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Black Team's Louis Cheeseman. Louis Cheeseman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Louis Cheeseman made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Philip Baum sent off a good shot on target.
