Spectators: 5264 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1224, VIP seats: 40) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jack Fairbank got the match started through his kick off. Carlton Elliott came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirroni-cum-Moze United's Joe McAliskey. But to his dismay, Joe McAliskey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Pirroni-cum-Moze United's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Fairbank came free, but Ray Henry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Henry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chaz Postolan went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Chaz Postolan came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Wolverhampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chaz Postolan couldn't finish the play. Ray Henry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Fairbank's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Jack Fairbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ray Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Henry stood somewhat misplaced when Jack Fairbank came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. In the 37th minute, Freddy Wilmott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Fairbanks short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Ray Henry to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Charles made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Jack Fairbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Steve Sharples managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Sharples was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Henry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Steve Sharples had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derek Garrett hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Alfred Rider came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Wolverhampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Rider couldn't finish the play. Ray Henry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Fairbank's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After 65 minutes, Jack Fairbank made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pirroni-cum-Moze United's Ray Henry tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pirroni-cum-Moze United's Ray Brighton got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Wolverhampton's Jack Fairbank nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ray Henry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 74 minutes into the match, Wolverhampton's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Charles came free, but Carlton Elliott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Chaz Postolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute of the match Laurence Harrison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlton Elliott showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Sharples in the 83rd minute of play forced Pirroni-cum-Moze United's goalkeeper Ray Henry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Fairbank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ray Henry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Henry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Sharples, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolverhampton's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
