Thamesmead's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dromara FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dromara FC's Huey Butler Yeats got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Dromara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Lowndes came free, but Sammy Muldoon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sammy Muldoon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevie Nesbitt in the 17th minute of play. Thamesmead's Johnathan Salmon pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 18 minutes, Ciarán Holt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dromara FC and the Thamesmead players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Ciarán Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Dromara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stevie Nesbitt came free, but Sammy Muldoon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sammy Muldoon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Housham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Muldoon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stevie Nesbitt's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Danny Waltham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Dougan in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Dromara FC's Patrick Butcher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Waltham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reuben Lowndes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevie Nesbitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Dromara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciarán Holt to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Stevie Nesbitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sammy Muldoon. Dromara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Nesbitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 45th minute, Reuben Lowndes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Dromara FC's zone, Jacob Housham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Muldoon came out of the goal and Jacob Housham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes Dromara FC got a freekick which was hit by Jermaine Connery. With his leg Sammy Muldoon managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Thamesmead's Stevie Nesbitt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reuben Lowndes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Muldoon having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Stevie Nesbitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thamesmead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stevie Nesbitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stevie Nesbitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sammy Muldoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Fred Chiverton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thamesmead and the Dromara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, one of Thamesmead:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thamesmead. The referee gave Dromara FC a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Huey Butler Yeats, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Thamesmead's Danny Waltham. 1-2. In the 71st minute, Stevie Nesbitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Housham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sammy Muldoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stevie Nesbitts short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Sammy Muldoon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dromara FC's goalkeeper Sammy Muldoon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Dromara FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Thamesmead:s goal. In the 90th minute, Stevie Nesbitt made a precise shot to the right of Sammy Muldoon. Dromara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 98 minutes into the match, Dromara FC's goalkeeper Sammy Muldoon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stevie Nesbitt. Reuben Lowndes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dromara FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Thamesmead were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
