Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donny Wardman made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Bromley booed when Thamesmead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathan Salmon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Donny Wardman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reuben Lowndes in the 8th minute of play forced Bromley's goalkeeper George Myers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Bromley's Dean Best got a free kick in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stevie Nesbitt got free with George Myers in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Reuben Lowndes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bromley's Jeff Kay got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stevie Nesbitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Myers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stevie Nesbitt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute of the match Jack Hurdle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danny Waltham showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Stevie Nesbitt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bromley's George Myers. George Myers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leroy McCormick took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for George Myers. Bromley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bromley's Ash Baum got a free kick in the 34th minute. Reuben Lowndes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Myers having to interfere. Stevie Nesbitt might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Myers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stevie Nesbitt ran back to his position shaking his head. Stevie Nesbitt hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Reuben Lowndes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Myers having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reuben Lowndes was the one to do the kick off. 2-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Reuben Lowndes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 57th minute Stevie Nesbitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Lowndes in the 58th minute of the match. George Myers came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Thamesmead's Stevie Nesbitt. But to his dismay, Stevie Nesbitt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 65th minute Reuben Lowndes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bromley getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zackary McKinney hit a great ball. George Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Nesbitt in the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevie Nesbitt in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Myers saved Bromley from getting behind. Thamesmead's Stevie Nesbitt got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 77 minutes, Zackary McKinney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromley and the Thamesmead players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bromley's Zackary McKinney got a free kick in the 77th minute. During the 80th minute of the match Johnathan Salmon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Johnathan Salmon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Thamesmead getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. After recieving a nice pass, Bromley's Mark Bowden tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Bromley's goal looked a bit too open when Stevie Nesbitt came free, but George Myers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Thamesmead were the better team. Thamesmead's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
