In the 4th minute, Andy Holt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodd Delamore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Barr in the 16th minute of the match. Jacob Newby kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Andy Holt made a precise shot to the right of Kasey Rush. Mangotsfield AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Alec Milburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kasey Rush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Mangotsfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Morrice to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Andy Holt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shrewsbury AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kasey Rush was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Joey Barr made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mangotsfield AFC's zone, Alec Milburn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasey Rush came out of the goal and Alec Milburn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Crawshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodd Delamore having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Alec Milburn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shrewsbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alec Milburn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Mangotsfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Wise to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Alec Milburn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kasey Rush was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Andy Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kasey Rush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Andy Holt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kasey Rush. The goal made the score 0-5. After a rather tough play, Shrewsbury AFC's Ivor Garrett got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Andy Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shrewsbury AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasey Rush breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mangotsfield AFC's Jason McWilliams got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Jason McWilliams off the ground. Orson Tyler kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Shrewsbury AFC's Andy Holt in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
