Spectators: 8354 (Terracing: 6386, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 10) Mangotsfield AFC's Joey Barr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jason McWilliams kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Kasey Rush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Lowndes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Reuben Lowndes scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Rush, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Jacob Housham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Thamesmead's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Barr came free, but Danny Waltham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reuben Lowndes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kasey Rush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reuben Lowndes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Rush having to interfere. Stevie Nesbitt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasey Rush having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reuben Lowndes in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasey Rush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danny Waltham was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robert Morrice. After some careless play in the Mangotsfield AFC defense, Stevie Nesbitt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasey Rush. The Mangotsfield AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasey Rush should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reuben Lowndes in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasey Rush saved Mangotsfield AFC from getting behind. In the 44thth minute of the game Reuben Lowndes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangotsfield AFC's Kasey Rush was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 played minutes Mangotsfield AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jason McWilliams. Kasey Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Nesbitt in the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Stevie Nesbitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thamesmead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stevie Nesbitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mangotsfield AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thamesmead were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reuben Lowndes to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mangotsfield AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Fred Chiverton placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Stevie Nesbitt struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Kasey Rush didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thamesmead. Reuben Lowndes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Kasey Rush 58 minutes into the match. Mangotsfield AFC's Kasey Rush proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mangotsfield AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 64 minutes, Joey Barr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangotsfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey Barr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Stevie Nesbitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasey Rush. Mangotsfield AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Nesbitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. A hard shot by Fred Chiverton from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Kasey Rush's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Reuben Lowndes took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Kasey Rush to make any attempt to save it. Mangotsfield AFC's Kasey Rush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Lowndes in the 77th minute of play. Robert Crawshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Danny Waltham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mangotsfield AFC's Kasey Rush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Lowndes in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jason McWilliams during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jason McWilliams hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Joey Barr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Waltham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Waltham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Crawshaw in the 97th minute of the match.
