In the 6th minute Bromley were awarded a corner. Mark Bowden went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 8th minute, Donny Wardman made a precise shot to the right of Sammy Muldoon. Dromara FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th minute Patrick Butcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Myers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Bromley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary McKinney to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, one of Bromley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bromley. The goalkeeper, George Myers, was totally fooled by Dromara FC's Huey Butler Yeats, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. George Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Butcher in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Bromley booed when Dromara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jermaine Connery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bromley's George Myers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Bromley from getting a goal against them. If Donny Wardman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bromley getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jack Hurdle hit a great ball. Dromara FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huey Butler Yeats in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Huey Butler Yeats got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Myers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute of the match Bromley got a corner. Dromara FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Bowden ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Bromley's corner Mark Bowden fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sammy Muldoon quite easily take care of the ball. Ciarán Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Bromley's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Butcher came free, but George Myers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Butcher might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Myers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Butcher ran back to his position shaking his head. George Myers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Dougan went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jeff Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Muldoon having to interfere. Patrick Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. George Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack Dougan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Dougan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. George Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dromara FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciarán Holt hit a great ball. Bromley's George Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Butcher in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dromara FC had played much better football throughout.
