In the 29th minute Jason Benbow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Yorke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Van Gallacher hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Harvey Blake came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Notting Hill Gate City fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in The Northern Ireland Babe's zone, Gordon Day stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Yorke came out of the goal and Gordon Day tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Fuller in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Cooke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Northern Ireland Babe's goalkeeper Dominic Yorke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Franz Fuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Cooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Edwards kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Gaz Shipton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Notting Hill Gate City's Frank Cooke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher MacDonnell in the 86th minute of play. If Gordon Day had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Dominic Yorke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frank Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Fuller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jason Benbow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
