Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) James Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Meehan struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Will Pitts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ilkeston. After a rather tough play, 1967 Kingswood's Tristan Hird got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Meehan got free with Will Pitts in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. James Little took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Will Pitts. Will Pitts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Ilkeston booed when 1967 Kingswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Pitts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. James Little might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Will Pitts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Little ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ilkeston's Henry Corbridge got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Jacob Meehan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Meehan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Will Pitts made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
After a defensive mix-up in Ilkeston's zone, CJ Bush stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Ripley came out of the goal and CJ Bush tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Jane Trimble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilkeston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jane Trimble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristan Hird hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jordan Salt kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Jacob Meehan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilkeston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Meehan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, James Little made a precise shot to the right of Will Pitts. 1967 Kingswood's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. CJ Bush might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Ripley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. CJ Bush ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Ripley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Hedges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of 1967 Kingswood booed when Ilkeston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Meehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Hedges struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Aaron Ripley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1967 Kingswood. James Little scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Pitts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 played minutes Ilkeston got a freekick which was hit by Henry Corbridge. In the 80th minute, CJ Bush got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Meehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Pitts having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game James Little who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1967 Kingswood's Will Pitts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the game, James Little cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Will Pitts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1967 Kingswood's goalkeeper Will Pitts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilkeston walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
