Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Romeo Donaghy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Donaghy in the 5th minute of play forced Droylsden's goalkeeper Sly Auckland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Paul Blanchflower from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Sly Auckland's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sly Auckland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Donaghy in the 9th minute of the match. A hard shot 11 in the game by Marc Poynton from a close distance when the talented Sly Auckland managed to make a qualified save. Droylsden's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Droylsden's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Donaghy came free, but Sly Auckland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sly Auckland was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shane Harrison. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Poynton got free with Sly Auckland in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Tate hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Romeo Donaghy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Droylsden's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Donaghy came free, but Sly Auckland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Romeo Donaghy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Droylsden getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carl Tate hit a great ball. Sly Auckland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Donaghy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carl Tate fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Droylsden's protests and gave Carl Tate a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Tate hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Carl Robertson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austen Briant in the 40th minute of the match. During the 42nd minute of the match Carl Tate completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carl Tate a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carl Tate kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Romeo Donaghy sped through Droylsden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sly Auckland. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Droylsden's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Poynton came free, but Sly Auckland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Droylsden's goalie prevented a goal. After 55 played minutes, Tatsfield FC's Harry Wilkinson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sly Auckland came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tatsfield FC reached it. Droylsden's Austen Briant got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Austen Briant off the ground. After 57 played minutes Droylsden got a freekick which was hit by Austen Briant. After having played for 58 minutes, Marc Poynton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatsfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Poynton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Droylsden's zone, Marc Poynton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sly Auckland came out of the goal and Marc Poynton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Romeo Donaghy in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Will Burkinshaw kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Romeo Donaghy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Auckland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sly Auckland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Poynton, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Romeo Donaghy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Romeo Donaghy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Droylsden's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Poynton came free, but Sly Auckland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Marc Poynton notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Droylsden's Sly Auckland. Sly Auckland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes, Tommy Nightingale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Droylsden and the Tatsfield FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Tommy Nightingale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Harry Wilkinson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sly Auckland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 87 played minutes Droylsden got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Nightingale. Tatsfield FC's Romeo Donaghy got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Romeo Donaghy sped through Droylsden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sly Auckland. Romeo Donaghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sly Auckland having to interfere. There was no doubt that Tatsfield FC were the better team. Tatsfield FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
