Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tatsfield FC's Romeo Donaghy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Poynton in the 3rd minute of play forced North Force FC's goalkeeper Dave Tomelty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matty Batty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Tomelty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Donaghy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Yeo in the 11th minute of play forced Tatsfield FC's goalkeeper Carl Robertson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matty Batty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Robertson having to interfere. If Graeme Ellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Tomelty came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton. But to his dismay, Marc Poynton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marc Poynton scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Tomelty, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Graeme Ellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dave Tomelty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marc Poynton came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tatsfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Poynton couldn't finish the play. After the first half Tatsfield FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeff Yeo made a kick off. Dave Tomelty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Donaghy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Poynton scored 0-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Tomelty, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, North Force FC's Dave Tomelty got control of the ball when Marc Poynton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Marc Poynton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dave Tomelty. The goal made the score 0-4. 71 minutes into the match, North Force FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Donaghy came free, but Dave Tomelty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Yeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Robertson having to interfere. Marc Poynton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dave Tomelty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes North Force FC got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Crommelin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Poynton got free with Dave Tomelty in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dave Tomelty made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Marc Poynton sent off a good shot on target. Marc Poynton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Tomelty having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Romeo Donaghy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dave Tomelty, 0-5. The North Force FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tatsfield FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
