Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The tension between the Hextable City and the Tatsfield FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Romeo Donaghy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Lewis, passed just outside the right post. Gerry Fields charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerry Fields the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marc Poynton took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Lewis. Pedro Lewis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th play minute Marc Poynton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Lewis. 2-0. Marc Poynton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Poynton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Lewis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hextable City's Damian Shepherd got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pedro Lewis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Donaghy, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Frank Ginn made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Tatsfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Alsop. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Donaghy in the 59th minute of play forced Hextable City's goalkeeper Pedro Lewis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tatsfield FC booed when Hextable City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Fields didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Hextable City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerry Fields to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Graeme Ellis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatsfield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hextable City the free kick. After 91 played minutes Tatsfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Graeme Ellis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Ginn in the 95th minute of play forced Tatsfield FC's goalkeeper Carl Robertson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Lewis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Donaghy, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Tatsfield FC were the better team. Tatsfield FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
