Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Romeo Donaghy got the match started through his kick off. 1967 Kingswood's Will Pitts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Donaghy in the 3rd minute of play. Carl Robertson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Hird in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Romeo Donaghy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Donaghy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Poynton in the 17th minute of play forced 1967 Kingswood's goalkeeper Will Pitts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Robertson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Hedges in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Donaghy in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Pitts saved 1967 Kingswood from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Tristan Hird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, 1967 Kingswood's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Donaghy came free, but Will Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Donaghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Pitts having to interfere. Ivan Barton kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Marc Poynton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatsfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Poynton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Pitts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in 1967 Kingswood's zone, Marc Poynton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Pitts came out of the goal and Marc Poynton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Poynton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Pitts having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Hedges was the one to do the kick off. CJ Bush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Carl Robertson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Donaghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Pitts having to interfere. Marc Poynton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Will Pitts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tristan Hird fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1967 Kingswood's protests and gave Tristan Hird a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 1967 Kingswood getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tristan Hird hit a great ball. Romeo Donaghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Pitts having to interfere. The supporters of Tatsfield FC booed when 1967 Kingswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Poynton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Romeo Donaghy fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marc Poynton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Will Pitts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Tatsfield FC's Marc Poynton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Will Pitts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Tatsfield FC booed when 1967 Kingswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Salt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tatsfield FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
