Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hextable City's Frank Ginn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Garth Lane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Lewis. Hextable City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 1967 Kingswood's George Hedges managed to work through Hextable City's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. George Hedges dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Hextable City booed when 1967 Kingswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Salt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hextable City's Frank Ginn in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1967 Kingswood's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the game, Roger Lockwood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hextable City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1967 Kingswood the free kick. Roger Lockwood hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Ivan Barton from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Pedro Lewis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Will Pitts came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Hextable City's Frank Ginn. But to his dismay, Frank Ginn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. George Hedges might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Lewis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. George Hedges ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Ginn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl Lewis scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Pitts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, 1967 Kingswood's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Ginn came free, but Will Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Hedges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hextable City's Pedro Lewis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hedges in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Gerry Fields was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hextable City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1967 Kingswood the free kick. Gerry Fields kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Karl Lewis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hextable City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Lewis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, 1967 Kingswood's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Ginn came free, but Will Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Ginn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to 1967 Kingswood getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tristan Hird hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Ginn in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will Pitts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Hextable City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Hedges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, CJ Bush mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1967 Kingswood and the Hextable City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, CJ Bush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Lewis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Hedges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Lewis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Hedges, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of 1967 Kingswood booed when Hextable City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jools Sanderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hextable City defense, George Hedges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Lewis. The Hextable City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Lewis should have stopped the shot. Karl Lewis struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Will Pitts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hextable City. In the 87th minute, CJ Bush got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Hedges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frank Ginn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hextable City's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Ginn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Pitts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The 1967 Kingswood fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hextable City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
