Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Theobald kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dave Tomelty. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Medley during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of North Force FC booed when Redditch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Medley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Tomelty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Theobald in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play Redditch's Harry Medley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Redditch's Harry Medley got a free kick in the 14th minute. Andrew Postolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Yeo in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Steven Blueman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Blueman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steven Blueman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, North Force FC's Matty Batty made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrew Postolan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steven Blueman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dave Tomelty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dave Tomelty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Theobald in the 51st minute of play. After 58 minutes, Bob Theobald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redditch and the North Force FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johnny Milton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steven Blueman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Tomelty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Redditch getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Frankie Anderson hit a great ball. Matty Batty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Redditch's Frankie Anderson suffered a sore thigh after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Johnny Crommelin's late challenge caught a Redditch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnny Crommelin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to North Force FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Johnny Crommelin hit a great ball. Johnny Milton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Tomelty having to interfere. If Bob Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bob Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redditch's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Tomelty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Westerby struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dave Tomelty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redditch. In the 90th minute, Bruce Westerby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redditch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 94th minute Bob Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Tomelty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Redditch's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Yeo came free, but Andrew Postolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
