Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Liam Bannister kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Liam Bannister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kimpton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Liam Bannister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Bull breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 minutes of play, Kimpton AFC's Craig Rhodes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Bull was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jack Shipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calum Rice hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Craig Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liam Bannister in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Bull saved Croston from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calum Alderson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, one of Kimpton AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kimpton AFC. Ryan Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Shipton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calum Rice hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jon Bull made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Rhodes in the 35th minute of play. Jon Bull stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Craig Rhodes's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rupert Batty sped through Croston's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Bull. In the 48th minute, Liam Bannister got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jack Shipton to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eric Blueman during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Croston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Blueman to maneuver through the defense. Jon Bull made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Craig Rhodes sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Croston getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Tommy Layfield hit a great ball. Jason Pickering recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig Rhodes got free with Jon Bull in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Barber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ryan Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Berry charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Berry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Kimpton AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Berry. Jack Shipton kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Jon Bull came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kimpton AFC's Craig Rhodes. But to his dismay, Craig Rhodes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 87th minute, Kimpton AFC's Liam Bannister dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Craig Rhodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Liam Bannister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Bull was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Jon Bull made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Craig Rhodes sent off a good shot on target.
