The supporters of Grindelwald Academy booed when Kimpton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Batty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Allison was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 77th minute of the match Kimpton AFC got a corner. Grindelwald Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. A collision led to Kimpton AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Liam Bannister hit a great ball. If Eddie Allison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Allison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryan Kennedy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Allison's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Kimpton AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grindelwald Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
