But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Carroll couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Carroll in the 12th minute of play forced Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trey Edison kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ian Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Markham struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Verne Button didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mhurphys Fury F.C.. Verne Button showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Carroll in the 23rd minute of the match. Louis Carroll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Verne Button tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Trey Edison came free, but Reg Hinchcliffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reg Hinchcliffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Feltham AFC's Luke Thurman in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Reg Hinchcliffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luke Thurman's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Carroll to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Feltham AFC's Trey Edison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reg Hinchcliffe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reg Hinchcliffe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luke Thurman in the 54th minute. Trey Edison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reg Hinchcliffe having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s Freddie Pinder got a free kick in the 58th minute. Reg Hinchcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Edison in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Carroll in the 75th minute of play forced Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Feltham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Moon. Verne Button showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Markham, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Graham Taylor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Markham struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Verne Button didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mhurphys Fury F.C..
