Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Burley in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reg Hinchcliffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Ken Lambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jasper Trotter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rangers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jamie Blackley hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Mhurphys Fury F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antony Hibbert. After 32 minutes, Mitch Sharp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangers and the Mhurphys Fury F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Louis Carroll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huey Mortlock hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lenny Gregg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reg Hinchcliffe having to interfere. Reg Hinchcliffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnathan Burley's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Louis Carroll's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasper Trotter was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Johnathan Burley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Reg Hinchcliffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnathan Burley took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reg Hinchcliffe. Reg Hinchcliffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The attack was good, but when Johnathan Burley in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Lenny Gregg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play, Rangers's Johnathan Burley made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reg Hinchcliffe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the match, Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Burley came free, but Reg Hinchcliffe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rangers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mhurphys Fury F.C. for a fine match.
