Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jasper Trotter, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 4 minutes, Jamie Blackley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rangers and the Hucknall FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damien Ely's late challenge caught a Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damien Ely helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Hucknall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Ely to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Lenny Gregg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derek Digby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasper Trotter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Jasper Trotter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colin Evans in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37thth minute of the game Colin Evans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rangers's Jasper Trotter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Derek Digby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Trotter having to interfere. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Sharp kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Marty Boxall was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Colin Evans made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Hucknall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mick Milligan to maneuver through the defense. 51 minutes into the match, Rangers's Pete Baldwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Owen Stead narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rangers:s Jasper Trotter showed great skill when he stopped Marty Boxall:s penalty. After having played for 81 minutes, Colin Evans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hucknall FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Colin Evans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marty Boxall, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rangers's Jasper Trotter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin Evans in the 87th minute of play. If Johnathan Burley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hucknall FC's Owen Stead played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnathan Burley in the 91st minute of play. Rangers's Johnathan Burley got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnathan Burley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Stead read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
