The supporters of Rangers booed when Feltham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruby Venables didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Trey Edison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasper Trotter was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Verne Button made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lenny Gregg sent off a good shot on target. Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Gregg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verne Button breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mitch Sharp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. After a rather tough play, Feltham AFC's Kristopher Bale got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Pete Baldwin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Verne Button skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Johnathan Burley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Verne Button saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnathan Burley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Austen Ackroyd hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feltham AFC the free kick. A collision led to Rangers getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Colin Kershaw hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Feltham AFC's Ruby Venables broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Johnathan Burley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnathan Burley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verne Button breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Burley in the 64th minute of play forced Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnathan Burley struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Verne Button didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangers. The Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Rangers's Johnathan Burley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Verne Button showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Burley in the 73rd minute of the match. Verne Button took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Gregg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Gregg took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Verne Button. Verne Button dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Johnathan Burley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verne Button having to interfere. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lenny Gregg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rangers had played much better football throughout.
