Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brimhaven FC's Damien Fish started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Damien Fish who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peacehaven's Spike Sharpe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Theo Gates came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Brimhaven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Gates couldn't finish the play. Spike Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Fish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match, Daryl Rashleigh got a very nice opportunity to score, but Spike Sharpe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Peter Longley spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Brimhaven FC's goal. Spike Sharpe was a little too slow when Theo Gates got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kenneth E. White stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Longley's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 24th match minute, Peacehaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Parkin to maneuver through the defense. Spike Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damien Fish in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Longley in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth E. White saved Brimhaven FC from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, Peter Longley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peacehaven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Longley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeff Maginnis scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth E. White, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Peter Longley made the kick off in the second half. Spike Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Gates, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Spike Sharpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Rashleigh in the 56th minute of the match. Damien Fish scored 2-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spike Sharpe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter Longley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kenneth E. White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Peacehaven got a freekick which was hit by Russ Tyler. With 82 minutes on the clock, Stevie Parkin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Peacehaven getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Stevie Parkin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinnie Hird in the 84th minute of play forced Peacehaven's goalkeeper Spike Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brimhaven FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Theo Gates hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Theo Gates made a precise shot to the right of Spike Sharpe. Peacehaven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Jeff Maginnis's late challenge caught a Brimhaven FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeff Maginnis helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Peacehaven got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Maginnis. Spike Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryl Rashleigh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spike Sharpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joey Gillespie in the 96th minute of play. With a little luck, Brimhaven FC's Kenneth E. White got control of the ball when Kiera Holt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Brimhaven FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Peacehaven for much of the match.
