Spike Sharpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Peter Longley came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Peacehaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Longley couldn't finish the play. Isaac William Russell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Longley in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Kiera Holt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac William Russell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the BUBASAUR defense, Peter Longley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac William Russell. The BUBASAUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac William Russell should have stopped the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Peter Longley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peacehaven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Longley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Kiera Holt made a precise shot to the right of Isaac William Russell. BUBASAUR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Peter Longley scored 2-6 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaac William Russell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Houghton made a kick off. Peter Longley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaac William Russell came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Longley slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 51st minute. The supporters of BUBASAUR booed when Peacehaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maik Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to BUBASAUR getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vincent Houghton hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Vincent Houghton made a precise shot to the right of Spike Sharpe. Peacehaven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-7. Spike Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Hughes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Spike Sharpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Houghton in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Longley in the 64th minute of play forced BUBASAUR's goalkeeper Isaac William Russell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac William Russell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Longley in the 68th minute of the match. Isaac William Russell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kiera Holt in the 72nd minute. BUBASAUR's Isaac William Russell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save BUBASAUR from getting a goal against them. If Kiera Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Tommy Browning mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BUBASAUR and the Peacehaven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maik Clark took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaac William Russell. BUBASAUR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute Peter Longley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac William Russell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, BUBASAUR's Isaac William Russell got control of the ball when Kiera Holt tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Peacehaven's Isaac William Russell threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Longley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, BUBASAUR's Vincent Houghton got a free kick in the 93rd minute. BUBASAUR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Kiera Holt scored to the left of an out of position Isaac William Russell, making the score, 3-8. When the final whistle sounded Peacehaven left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BUBASAUR.
