An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Longley in the 2nd minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeff Maginnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Hopker having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Peacehaven's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth E. Sullivan came free, but Spike Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Kiera Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 29 minutes on the clock, Stevie Parkin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, one of Peacehaven:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Peacehaven. After 38 played minutes Intrusive Thoughts got a freekick which was hit by Steve Ryder. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Intrusive Thoughts! Owen Hopker had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Peter Longley's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Peacehaven booed when Intrusive Thoughts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willie Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Hopker made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Kiera Holt sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiera Holt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Intrusive Thoughts's Max Rider got a free kick in the 64th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Intrusive Thoughts's goal looked a bit too open when Kiera Holt came free, but Owen Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth E. Sullivan in the 75th minute of play forced Peacehaven's goalkeeper Spike Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiera Holt struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Owen Hopker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peacehaven. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiera Holt in the 81st minute of play. Steve Ryder charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Ryder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Intrusive Thoughts's Steve Ryder got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 91st minute, Intrusive Thoughts's Kenneth E. Sullivan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Spike Sharpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenneth E. Sullivan in the 96th minute.
