When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Albert Ainsworth sped through Intrusive Thoughts's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Owen Hopker. Andrew Wild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Whittaker having to interfere. A collision led to ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Charlie Bale hit a great ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkadiusz Skirzynski to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's Nicholas Herzog got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The Intrusive Thoughts supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's performance. The match ended with a win for ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ.
