But to his dismay, Mihail Micescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute Andrew Wild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Simmons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Mihail Micescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mihail Micescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Owen Hopker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Danny Fuller kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Edgard Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Simmons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Duke in the 36th minute of play. Intrusive Thoughts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Micescu got free with Owen Hopker in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Han Chang Yue hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Jim Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Andrew Simmons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jim Bannister made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Andrew Simmons successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Roma AS's Andrew Simmons got control of the ball when Steve Ryder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Owen Hopker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Micescu in the 63rd minute of play. Owen Hopker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Micescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Edgard Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrew Simmons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Bannister in the 73rd minute of play. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Aires in the 74th minute of play. Owen Hopker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Intrusive Thoughts getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Andrew Wild hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Aires in the 84th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Rider during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Edgard Aires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Owen Hopker. Intrusive Thoughts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Aires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Roma AS's Mihail Micescu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roma AS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
