Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Spike Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Marc Sawbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Longley in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Belfast Celtic FC's Joey Downs got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jim Tipton took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Spike Sharpe. Spike Sharpe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Joey Downs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiera Holt let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Joey Downs hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Peacehaven's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Tipton came free, but Spike Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiera Holt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Sawbridge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Belfast Celtic FC's Marc Sawbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Longley in the 35th minute of play. Marc Sawbridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiera Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Marc Sawbridge managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Peacehaven's Kiera Holt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamie Campbell during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peacehaven's Jamie Campbell got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jim Tipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Sharpe having to interfere. Kiera Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Longley made a kick off. When Stevie Parkin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peacehaven's protests and gave Stevie Parkin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Peacehaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Parkin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Tipton in the 55th minute of play forced Peacehaven's goalkeeper Spike Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiera Holt in the 60th minute of play forced Belfast Celtic FC's goalkeeper Marc Sawbridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig Pamplin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Spike Sharpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Johnson in the 65th minute. The supporters of Peacehaven booed when Belfast Celtic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Oates didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jim Tipton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Spike Sharpe. That made the score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. Marc Sawbridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Longley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Tipton hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Peter Longley might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Sawbridge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Longley ran back to his position shaking his head. When Peacehaven's Peter Longley, in the 92nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Peacehaven. After 95 minutes, Cody Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belfast Celtic FC and the Peacehaven players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Belfast Celtic FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Peacehaven throughout the match.
